Kelvin Wayne Harris, Sr. was born Nov. 25, 1964, and passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at the age of 59.
He is survived by his wife, Regina Fontenot Harris; children, Roy Fontenot, Oscar Fontenot, Kelvin Harris Jr., Giovanni Harris, Reginald Fontenot, Rámon Justice, and Clea Justice; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Karen Cunningham and Sharon Robinson; and brother, Wilbert “June” Harris and wife Zette.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gino Harris; parents, Marie and Joe Colbert; and siblings, Stafford Harris Sr. and Lois Marie Goodeaux.
The family received friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. on May 18, at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, 202 Acme Dr., DeQuincy. Interment followed at Paradise Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
