James “Doug” Jackson was born Nov. 5, 1940, and passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the age of 83.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dolores Jackson; children, Rhonda Krezinski and husband Jason, Tammy Morrow and husband Gregory, and Shelley Wethington; grandchildren, Cody Krezinski, Mason Krezinski, Brannan Morrow, Hannah Morrow, and Joshua Wethington; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Cassie Jackson; brother, Allen “Gene” Jackson; and sister, Jimmie “Maxine” Bryan.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, at Brookside Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
