Mary Evelyn Reeves Parker, 85, of Ragley died Monday, Apr. 15, 2024. She was born in DeQuincy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Elizabeth McConathy Reeves of Ragley; and husband, Earnest W. Parker of Texas.
She was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church in Ragley and the Magnolia Eastern Star Chapter. She had worked as a bank employee in Texas prior to returning to Louisiana after the death of her husband. She was also a member of the Maplewood Lions Club and a volunteer at Cal Cam Hospital.
A graveside service was held at Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley on Friday, Apr. 19 under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home. Brother David Free officiated.
