Allen Richard “Rick” Brown was born Feb. 9, 1959 in DeQuincy and passed away Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021 at the age of 62. Rick proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired as a Chief Petty Officer.
He is survived by his children, Allen Richard “Ricky” Brown, II and wife, Joanne, Jessica Weber and husband, Rob, David Randall “Randy” Brown and fiancé Josie; grandson, River; mother, Jeanette Brown; brother, Jesse Randall “Randy” Brown and wife, Sandra and sister, Sondra Colleen Boyer and husband, Clay, along with numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Ray Brown.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, and the funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13. The visitation and the funeral service were held at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Bro. Mike Streams officiated. Interment followed at Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
