Gloria Fay Doyle, 80 of DeQuincy was born June 9, 1940 in New Orleans and passed away Saturday, Mar. 13, 2021 in Lake Charles.
She is survived by her children, Eugene Doyle, Sammy Doyle and wife, Denise, all of DeQuincy, and Gina Domingue and husband, Bill of Sulphur; grandchildren, Kaitlon, Hunter, Cade and Khloe; and great-grandson, Ryker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Doyle; parents, James and Dorothy Slocum; brothers, James Slocum and Joseph Slocum.
The family received friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Mar. 16, at Journey Church of DeQuincy; also they will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Mar. 17 at the church with a funeral service starting at 11 a.m. Rev. Tony Crosier will officiate. Interment to follow at Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home, 7200 Desiard Street, Monroe LA 71203 or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
