BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS HOUSING AUTHORITY
CITY OF DEQUINCY, LA

The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of DeQuincy, La. met in regular session on September 28, 2020 for the following purpose:
Chairman Jerry McCaig called the meeting to order and upon roll call, those present and absent were as follows:
Present: Jerry McCaig, Lynne Treme, Ira Royer, Darlene Hooker, Carmen Iley, Shirley Bagwell, Brenda Vige
Absent: None
A quorum present, the following business was transacted. The minutes from July 14, 2020 were reviewed. Carmen Iley made a motion to approve the minutes and Ira Royer seconded. Motion carried.
The financial reports for June and July 2020 were reviewed. The year to date actuals were compared to the year to date budget. Lynne Treme made a motion to accept the financial reports as presented and Carmen Iley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Updates on the damages from Hurricane Laura 2020 were presented and discussed. There was a tree on Unit 209, shingles off roofs of most buildings, AC units were blown off the pads, electrical lines and poles down, interior damages to 5 units and carport blown away at office.
The 2021 Operating Budget was presented and discussed. Lynne Treme made a motion to accept the Budget as presented and Ira Royer seconded the motion. Motion carried. Res # 964
The outstanding debt owed for FYE 9/30/2020 is $569.00. Lynne Treme made a motion to write off the outstanding debt in the amount of $569.00 and Carmen Iley seconded the motion. Motion carried. Res # 965
The removal of 19 items from the inventory list for FYE 9/30/2020 was presented and discussed. Ira Royer made a motion to write off the 19 items form the inventory list and Darlene Hooker seconded the motion. Motion carried. Res # 966
The vacancy report was presented by Brenda Vige.
There being no further business to come before the board, the Chairman thereupon declared meeting adjourned.
