“We Just Look Expensive” is what Carolyn Dowers, owner of Shop Around the Corner tells people. Upon first impression, one gets the idea that all the clothing in her shop is brand new, but the truth is most of the merchandise is gently-used clothing that has been reconditioned for resale.
Located at 220 E. Fourth St., the shop offers name-brand clothing and shoes for the entire family, jewelry and accessories, designer-inspired handbags, Christian books, and more. Free gift wrap is available.
Store hours are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Wed. - Fri.; 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Sat.
