Our association is working to promote Starks, build a positive image of our community, and to help other non-profit organizations raise funds for their activities. This organization sponsors the Starks Mayhaw Festival, which is held the third weekend in May.

The first officers for the Starks Business and Civic Association were Willard White, president; James R. Franks, vice-president; and Evelyn Chapman White, secretary-treasurer. New officers are elected each year.

Our meetings are open to the public. We are now accepting applications for civic members. The meeting is held the first Tuesday of each month at: 4743 Evangeline Hwy. (Starks Lions Club Building)
